GoalQuest Soccer Training is dedicated to improving the skills of youth players. GoalQuest's founder, Chris Johnson, is regionally recognized as having successfully trained and mentored dozens of Division I college players. Coach Johnson uses diverse coaching staff, including Division I college athletes, to assist him in developing young athletes.

Coach Johnson's coaching career highlights include:

  • Coach of U-19 Freestate Blazers (nationally ranked in 2002) and two-time State Cup finalists (U-17, U-18)
  • Coach of '91 Freestate Blazers (boys) Division I NCSL Team
  • Trainer for '90 Freestate Shooters (girls) Division I WAGS Team, WAGS Team, Region I Summer League (includes 14 MD ODP-experienced players)
  • '02 Freestate Blazers placed 12 of 14 players in NCAA Division 1; most on scholarship
  • Former letterman and scholarship player at the University of Maryland
  • MD ODP Staff Coach 1997-1999, Boy's U-17; U-14
  • Played on 1987 Bowie High School State Championship Team
  • Baltimore Bays D-3 Professional
  • Youth Coach for nearly 9 years
  • Experienced in coaching former and present MLS, National and Regional ODP, and Division I collegiate players
  • Placed 12 '02 high school seniors in Division 1 schools, including: Brown, Davidson, UMd, UPenn, Towson, Providence, Villanova
